The first annual One Minute Film & Video
Festival was a giant success on November 20th, 2003! We had a great,
enthusiastic crowd and the response was enormous, with coverage in the Toronto
Star and the Globe and Mail.
Our jury has selected five outstanding entries from
among this year's films. The winning films are:
- Best Documentary: "Baagisani Ba Botshabelo,"
Francois J. Driessen
- Best Comedy: "Jim," Jason Gorber
- Most Poetic Film: "Excerpt 1," Karen
Savage
- Special Jury Prize: "Denominations," Daniel
Cockburn
- Best Overall: "Parallel Lives," Laurie
York
The votes for Viewer's Choice have been counted!
The audience selected "Cats and Pants" by Jennifer Matotek as their
favourite film of this year's festival. Congratulations!
