The first annual One Minute Film & Video Festival was a giant success on November 20th, 2003! We had a great, enthusiastic crowd and the response was enormous, with coverage in the Toronto Star and the Globe and Mail.

Our jury has selected five outstanding entries from among this year's films. The winning films are:

  • Best Documentary: "Baagisani Ba Botshabelo," Francois J. Driessen
  • Best Comedy: "Jim," Jason Gorber
  • Most Poetic Film: "Excerpt 1," Karen Savage
  • Special Jury Prize: "Denominations," Daniel Cockburn
  • Best Overall: "Parallel Lives," Laurie York

The votes for Viewer's Choice have been counted! The audience selected "Cats and Pants" by Jennifer Matotek as their favourite film of this year's festival. Congratulations!
