AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED - The Third Annual One Minute Film
& Video Festival screening was a tremendous success! Thanks to all who
attended!
Our jury has announced six prize-winners from this year's
programme, "Intersections." They are:
Best International Film: "Le Dernier Jour"
(Amir Hossein Ghassemi)
Best Canadian Film: "Amoré" (Juliana
Saragosa)
Special Jury Prize: "Night Falls" (John
Bacone)
The Intersection Prize for Thematic & Conceptual
Integration: "Horizons + Intersections II" (Derek von Essen)
Best Abstract Film: "Palette" (Sibel
Guvenc)
Best Action Film: "Magic Fingers" (Oscar
Perez)
But wait: there's one more award! Ballots are currently
being counted for this year's Viewer's Choice prize. Check the web site in the

ADVANCE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE - A new block of advance
tickets has gone on sale at Queen Video (480 Bloor Street). Tickets are $8
each and will be available up to the night of the screening!

FESTIVAL JURY ANNOUNCED - The Third Annual One Minute Film
and Video Festival will be presided over by an awards jury made up of talent
from Torontos film video communities - Cameron Bailey (bio), Vera Frenkel (bio) and Alan Zweig.

ADVANCE TICKETS - Ticket information for this year's
festival has now been posted to the Screening
Information page. For the first time this year we will be offering
advance tickets to the festival! Advance tickets will go on sale on
Saturday, November 12 at Queen Video (480 Bloor Street West) in Toronto and
cost $8.
Tickets will also be available at the door on the night of
the screening, starting at 5:30 p.m., for $10 apiece.

FESTIVAL PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED - The 2005 programme has been
posted! Click here to see this year's roster of 64
films interpreting our 2005 theme, "Intersections."
The 2005 programme will screen on Thursday, November 24 2005 starting at 7:00 at the
Bloor Cinema in Toronto.

2003 PROGRAMME SCREENING - The 2003 One Minute Film &
Video Festival programme, "Neighbours," will screen on September 20th at the
North
of Nowhere Expo Multidisciplinary Festival of Independent Media &
Underground Art, in Edmonton, Alberta. If you're in the Edmonton area, it's
a great opportunity to get a look at our inaugural year of short films! Further
details can be found on the North of Nowhere web site.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS CLOSED - The call for submissions for
the 2005 programme has ended. The festival directors are now reviewing their
submissions, and the complete programme will be announced soon. The 2005 One
Minute Film & Video Festival will be held on November 24th at the Bloor
Cinema in Toronto.

CALL FOR SUBMISSONS - Each year, filmmakers are asked to
interpret a specified theme, in exactly one minute! The theme for 2005 is
intersections. This year's theme was suggested by Alison Jutzi. Alison
wins two tickets to the 2005 One Minute Film and Video
Festival!
